A Vatican spokesman says 76-year old Pope Francis doesn’t want fame or glory but will be happy about his selection as Time magazine’s Person of the Year, if it helps spread the message of the Gospel. This is the third time a Catholic pope has been Time’s selection. Pope Francis has denounced want he calls the world’s idolatry of money and that nearly one billion people today go hungry today around the world.
