Raids on suspected terrorists have been taking place across Europe over the past 24 hours, the most violent involved a shoot out with police in Belgium. Two terror suspects were killed, a third arrested. Belgian police say the group involved jehadists who had recently returned from Syria and were planning to attack police officers and police stations. In all some 13 people have been detained in Belgium. In Germany police have two men in custody on suspicion they were recruiting fighters and procuring equipment and funding for the Islamic State terrorist group in Syria.
