Tonight, Canadian voters will have an opportunity to watch the main party leaders debate issues on foreign policy.
The fourth leaders’ debate is hosted by the Munk Debates. Rudyard Griffiths is the moderator.
The civil war and refugee crisis in Syria, as well as Canada’s participation in coalition airstrikes against ISIL targets, have become hot button campaign issues.
And with the election 3 weeks from today, pollster Nik Nanos expects things to get nasty.
“At some point, the massive attack machines have to kick into gear because we’re running out of runway…September’s going to be behind us and I think, as soon as we hit October, I would expect a lot more advertising from all of the federal parties, because it’ll be rainy negativity,” Nanos told Zoomer Radio’s Zoomer Week In Review.
According to the opinion polls, the Conservatives, Liberals and NDP continue to split voter support in a 3 way tie.
