Mick and the boys have announced they will give a free concert in Cuba later this month.
Currently on a Latin American tour due to end March 17 in Mexico City, the Stones will play the first open air concert in Cuba by a British rock band.
Rock music was marginalized in Cuba for political reasons after the revolution in 1959.
The Stones said in a statement, ”We have performed in many special places during our long career but this show in Havana is going to be a landmark event for us and we hope for all our friends in Cuba too.”
The concert will come just three days after U.S. President Obama pays a visit there.
