22-year-old Karim Baratov was arrested at his Hamilton suburb home Tuesday, then Wednesday was indicted by the FBI, along with three others; two of whom are alleged to be Russian intelligence officers.
Jag Virk says ”Donald Trump is trying to make it appear like he’s going after Russian hackers, but he’s going after a 22-year-old kid from Ancaster.  He’s being used as a scapegoat.”
Baratov has a bail hearing scheduled Friday in Hamilton court.
The U.S. is seeking his extradition.
