A 19-year-old man is under arrest in Israel in connection with recent bomb threats made against Jewish community centres, schools and institutions in Canada, the U.S., Australia and New Zealand.
Police say he is the primary suspect and describe him as a hacker.
His motives are unclear and his name cannot be released because of a publication ban.
They identify him only as an American-Israeli.
He will remain in custody until March 30.

Speaking outside court, the lawyer for the suspect says her client suffers from a ”very serious” medical condition, that prevented him from serving in the army or going to school, and that this condition could ”affect the investigation.”
U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions says the arrest shows the Justice Department will not tolerate religious-oriented attacks, calling work by the F-B-I and Israeli police ”outstanding.”
