23-year-old Marisa Lazo, who’s an American citizen, has been ordered to hand over her passport, must stay away from construction sites and rooftops.
Before the hearing at Old City Hall court, a friend described her as ”an adventure seeker.”
Sara Burton told reporters, ”It was not her best decision but the fact that she did it was not a shock to me. People are speculating that mental health played a role but I don’t believe that. She’s just an adventurous girl.”
After the hearing, Lazo made no comment to reporters waiting outside.
The young woman, who faces six counts of mischief, is scheduled to return to court May 17.
