Patrick Brown’s announced he is suing CTV News over its handling of the sexual misconduct allegations against him.
In his latest statement on Facebook, he says his lawyers are talking to CTV and that the network’s lawyers agreed to ensure all emails, texts, and other correspondence related to this ”travesty” are held independently for safe keeping.
Brown has said he had worried about rival parties circulating rumours about him for some time.
The Liberals say suggestions his rivals are to blame for what’s happened are ”ridiculous”.
The PCs and NDP are not commenting.
The first leadership debate with Christine Elliott, Tanya Granic Allen, Caroline Mulroney and Doug Ford airs at 8pm on TV.
