The creator of some of the top television shows of all time has died at the age of 74.
Steven Bochco, the man who created “Hill Street Blues, died of cancer in his sleep yesterday.
”Hill Street Blues” was nominated for 98 Emmys during a six year run in the 1980s.
He also created ”L.A. Law,” ”NYPD Blue” and ”Doogie Howser, M.D.”
Bochco was the recipient of numerous industry awards, including the Humanitas Prize and Peabody honours. He was personally nominated for 30 Emmy Awards and took 10 of them home.
