”It’s a way for us to really come together, mourn together, to start the long healing process together and also to support each other,” said Liberal MP Gary Anandasangaree, who represents the riding of Scarborough-Rouge Park.
Faith leaders, including a priest, rabbi and imam, are expected to speak.
There will also be a choir.
Over 200 Sri Lankan-Canadians attended a service at the Toronto Harvest Missionary Church in Scarborough, hours following the attacks.
The GTA is home to an estimated 250,000 of Sri Lankan origin.
