CANADA AMONG COUNTRIES DEMANDING COMPENSATION FOR PLANE CRASH VICTIMS FAMILIES

Canada and other countries that lost citizens in the Ukrainian plane crash gathered in London.
Foreign Affairs Minister Francois Philippe Champagne hosted officials from Britain, Sweden, Afghanistan and Ukraine.

The five countries want compensation for the victims’ families, expect Iran to deal with them to ensure there’s a credible, transparent investigation into the downing of the plane and for Iran to respect families’ wishes to return the remains.
Meanwhile, Ontario has announced new post secondary scholarships that’ll be given in honour of the 57 Canadians killed.
After speaking with the families, Premier Doug Ford says they were enthusiastic about the plan.
Many of the victims were students and faculty at Canadian universities.
