CANADA TO BAR MOST TRAVELLERS WHO ARE NOT CITIZENS OR PERMANENT RESIDENTS

Canada is barring entry to most travellers who are not citizen or permanent residents.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also announced exceptions include immediate family members of citizens, air crew, diplomats, and American citizens ”at this time”.
Starting Wednesday, international flights will only be allowed to land at airports in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary.
However, the new border controls will not apply to trade and commerce in order to keep Canada’s supply chain running.
Elsewhere in Canada, three more virus deaths in B.C., all of them linked to a north Vancouver long-term care home where the first death was reported earlier this month – a man in his 80s with pre-existing health conditions.
