Congratulations to our colleagues at Zoomer Magazine!
Canada’s only magazine for the 45-plus has received a silver in portrait photography at the 43rd National Magazine Awards.
The special recognition is for the cover photo of long time former Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion, who appeared on the front of Zoomer Magazine in May of 2019, along with a feature article called Hurricane Hazel.
Named in the honour are Editor-In-Chief and Publisher Suzanne Boyd, Art Director Stephanie White, Photographer Chris Chapman and Fashion Director George Antonopoulos.
Celebrated on Friday June 12th, the ceremony was presented as a live virtual broadcast.
The National Magazine Awards are dedicated to promoting excellence in journalism and visual creation, honouring professionals in Canada who are distinguished by the quality of their work.
