We shouldn’t be surprised – during the election campaign we were warned that the increases would be big on her watch. And there’s more – she’s warning about an additional 6.5% hike if the federal Liberals don’t come through with more cash for the city. Is that brilliant piece of political brinkmanship as some are saying or is she overreaching? And does the federal government take Toronto for granted?
