With Trumps inauguration just days away we have to wonder what Canada’s contribution to NATO will be should the U.S. follow through on president-elect Donald Trump’s musings on withdrawing from the alliance? Canada’s head of the House of Commons foreign affairs committee recently cautioned that Canada and its NATO partners need to see how US foreign policy unfolds after Trump’s inauguration and review how we should deploy military resources. With a federal budget coming this winter, that could mean an increase in defence spending. Here to shed light on this topic is MP Andrew Leslie.
