A report authored by the executive director of the Ontario Health Coalition shows that some doctors are ‘double dipping’ by working in the public system, while at the same time charging some patients fees for quicker access to health care. Natalie Mehra interviewed some 250 patients across Canada and said the results were disturbing and that at least one of those affected was a Zoomer who couldn’t afford their rent as a result of having to pay extra for access to the care they needed. Natalie Mehra joins Libby to talk about it.
