The investigation continues into the weekend crash of an Ethiopian Boeing 737 Max 8, which took the lives of 157 people, including 18 Canadians.
Australia and Korea are the latest to suspended all flights in or out of their countries by Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, but our Transport Minister, Marc Garneau says those kinds of decisions are premature and Canada is awaiting the outcome of the investigation.
Word from Boeing, US Airlines and the US Federal Aviation Administration is that the plane is safe to fly. The Ethiopian crash was the second involving that type of air craft in five months.
And yesterday we learned that 3 generations of one Brampton family died in the crash. Flags will fly at half-staff in Brampton today. Libby speaks with aviation analyst and litigator Arthur Rosenberg and British aviation expert Max Kingsley-Jones.
