Plans are well under way for this fall’s Oktoberfest in Munich and this year will be just like any other.

Meaning, it’s fine to roll out the beer barrel, just not the bong.

The German State of Bavaria is banning smoking cannabis at the world’s most popular beer festival and is prohibiting cannabis consumption in all pubic areas.

The move comes after Germany legalized possession of small amounts of cannabis for recreational use at the beginning of April.

Oktoberfest kicks off in Munich September 21st.
