Toronto’s Auditor General sits down with the city’s audit committee today to discuss how to better manager health and dental benefits for Toronto’s civic employees. Among the ideas; an annual cap on reimbursement for erectile dysfunction drugs.
Earlier this week, Beverly Romeo-Beehler released a report highlighting how much the city is paying for prescription drugs and red flagged cases where excessive quantities of drugs like oxycodone and fentanyl were reimbursed.
In all, the report makes 18 recommendations to council.
